    Hello all. So as you all know, Blackbox has, while small, a highly dedicated audience in Japan, which has plenty dark things hiding in alleys and fields alike. This is pretty fresh, so this is mainly a collection of reports compiled together, sourced from a few friends of mine currently living there.

    One common factor of the reports is that there was a clear area of denial around Nachi Falls; signal jamming, visible snipers, and military style helicopters dotted all around, buzzing loudly for about two hours, followed by the sounds of "loud popping", which was silenced just as quickly following a particularly loud "pop".

    Without further delay, here follows the two most notable reports we were able to compile, details have been censored per the wishes of those spoken to:

REPORT #1:

    INTERVIEWEE: "KAZIWARA"

    "Kaziwara" is a salaryman living in Nachikatsuura with his wife and son. At approximately 23:49_JST, he was awoken by the sound of what he referred to as an explosion. Screaming was heard, but he says that may be attributed to others in town, as he slept through the reported flurry of gunfire. Almost 40 minutes later, at 00:25, he witnessed a black, armored vehicle speeding by on the road in front of his house, and the flutter of helicopter propellors off in the distance until approximately 01:02. Interestingly, he stated that he saw what appeared to be US Military gear on the truck, but couldn't identify exactly what it was, only that it said "US ARMY".

REPORT #2: 

   INTERVIEWEE: "The Fisherman"

    A local who lives along the riverbank downstream, he was the closest to the incident. At approximately 22:50, he witnessed multiple 'commandos' dressed in all black with red accents traveling alongside what he claims were a small contingent of JSDF operatives, a group of "about thirty", led by someone "Hard to see behind the guns and armor, but strong, commanding, colossal. I believe he turned around at one point to address the men, and, perhaps, saw me." He seemed hesitant, then continued- "His eyes, they sparked with fire. I don't know how to describe it, not human, something... more. The humming of engines in the distance, helicopters hovering overhead. I heard men, more, shuffling and running, and then the gunfire, but... That wasn't all there was. I heard screaming. English..." The Fisherman stopped for awhile, he seemed unsure if he should continue, taking a few minutes, then looked at me and spoke. "The shooting stopped, there was popping, screaming that stopped sudden, and then single pops, english again, until this... There was a moment of silence, then BOOM." He motioned, waving both hands outward. "I saw it. Glass, metal. I saw the devil fall from heaven." He motioned a claw towards the right half of his face, and refused to elaborate any further.

     There were more than these two, but many went over similar base details to the first report. I wonder if the Senator who visited Tokyo recently is privy, I'll try to pull some strings to get information, but it's not a guarantee. No news agencies are reporting on this, and it seems that the associated deaths may have been written off as accidental training exercise fatalities, which as you all know is the mark of grade-A bullshit.

    For my money, I'd peg this as some kind of paramilitary skirmish between megacorporate security forces. Grab your neon and go tag up Baldric's bullshit or light a DREAD truck on fire to let 'em know you mean business!

    The second report, the man claiming to see "the devil fall from heaven", it adds a wrinkle I can't quite work my head around, but it lines up with similar sightings of a "large, commanding man" with "strange eyes" and noting the color red I've been looking into. NINETEEN_TWENTYFOUR_REPORTS

LOCATION: CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES

    So, as you folk know, I've been taking a lot of interest in a number of seemingly disconnected eye-witness accounts, police reports, a few articles from some journalists at the time, and positively shit pics (camera's weren't the greatest back then), from the year 1924. All of them seem to paint a picture of some kind of chase starting on the West Coast and ending in a small university town in Massachusetts.

    Now, of course, it's important to make the distinction between active stories of intrigue and societal importance, and things in history that were seemingly lost to time and, well, are just plain interesting. Most reports I put together are the former, sometimes the latter is a good palette cleanser, but what's piqued my curiosity is that these spree killings and weird personal accounts seem to point to whatever happening in this time frame being within both categories. Mental, I know, "history being important to the present!?". I'm blowing your minds right now, go ahead, you can say it. 

    I first became aware of, lets say, "Events Of Oddity" occurring in 1924 about six months ago when I took a trip to the coast to look into corruption regarding Yamamoto Heavy Industry in Los Angeles. Now, I might be a crusader for information freedom and all that jazz, but hey, its Cali, I took the long way back, so sue me. Passing through San Francisco, me and my friends were perusing city archives, talking to oldheads, records keepers, shooting the shit for any tales we could wring out. In our travels, conversing, and liberal bending of B&E rules, we stumbled onto the murder of Bruce Carter III, at the time an active contender in the race for the 4th Congressional District of California. It was brutal, inhuman, the scene, as described, goes as follows: Bruce, in his office, was attacked by a single individual (identified by there only being two sets of bootprints on the floor and certain other early-forensic techniques) who was incredibly strong. His ribs were crushed in, puncturing a lung, spleen, and lacerating his thoracic aora, which are all more than fatal injuries, but the killing blow was his jaw being ripped from his head and his neck snapped. The body was found strung up by piano wire, digging into and cutting his flesh from the weight of his hanging corpse, from the heat piping on the ceiling, his intestines blown out of his body. BRUTAL!

    Now, that alone would be interesting just from the sheer ferocity of it, happening in early 20th century America in a pretty civil city to an up and comer politician. But there's a few interesting background details that raise an eyebrow, such as Bruce being nicknamed "The Fightin' Yank" by his comrades in the first World War, having ended up the only survivor of his unit and shacking up with British infantry to escape the trenches alive. He was no pushover pencilneck, he was a trained soldier, and a pretty big bloke, about six foot two and nearly two-hundred pounds per the autopsy. Someone who could have done this to a man like that would've had to be a similar size, and similar training, perhaps a vendetta from the war? German spy, perhaps? Sending a message?

    In any event, it spooked officials enough to contact a man named Langley Connecticut (cool name) to investigate, a private detective who, interestingly enough, was also a veteran of WWI. Isn't that something? From there, details get blurry, but Langley had a penchant for wearing bulky metal armor, and set off towards Nevada with a man in a red coat in tow. Quirky, right? 

    What if I told you that wasn't armor, and that man was no mere assistant. What if I told you that Langley was the worlds first cyborg (in 1924! Decades before myoelectric prosthetics were pioneered and allowed for low-latency prosthesis' and bionic implants), but that his partner was the famous wild west outlaw 'Scarlet Jack', now identified as John MacClintock? Yeah, the one they made movies out of. 

    I'll update this article as more details become clear and I organize the information in a succinct way, as after they clear San Francisco, the details get fuzzy and scattered, it'll take time to reconstruct what went on. Stay tuned to this page to hear more!

    Hey all, so if you were tuning into the most recent broadcast, you'll have heard that i've made headway in saving the old websites archive data. We're still unsure what exactly happened, but our recovery efforts have been pretty fruitful.

    Malicious attack? Virus? Sabotage? Act of god? We're unsure what was responsible, but rest assured it will not be happening again. I'll be updating and uploading the old archive in due time, as well as posting new reports, files, examinations, theories, and discussions as normal. Welcome back to BLACKBOX, ladies and gentlemen!

    Hmm... Writing this now, my mind focuses on that strange occurrence during last week's Saturday broadcast, the day the old archive shit itself. I could've sworn, you know, that an accented voice spoke to me these words:

"SET THE WORLD FREE"
